How To Cut Vinyl Ceiling Tile
Because vinyl tiles are made from plasterboard based products, you would cut these in the same way you would cut a plasterboard; using a sharp knife and a straight flat edge. Ensure that you run the knife over the cut more than once, as you wouldn’t want to apply too much pressure on the first cut, as this could damage the ceiling tile.
How To Install Vinyl Ceiling Tiles
To install vinyl ceiling panels, you would follow the same process as you would for normal mineral fibre tiles. You would install these in either a 600mm x 600mm or a 1200mm x 600mm grid spacing. The tiles should be put through the spaces in the grid at an angle, which will allow you to get them above the ceiling grid with out damaging them. Once you have done this, the tiles will simply lay-in to the grid system with the vinyl face facing towards the floor.
